Music & Documentary

There are many, many, MANY amazing music photographers out there and choosing is no mean feat – so thank you for checking out my work!

With 20 years of band photography under my belt, you can be confident that I’ll capture your live show in a way that will let your fans relive the experience whenever they look at the pictures.

What do you need to know?

Music photography is all about storytelling through visuals. It’s about taking a live performance and transforming it into evocative, memorable images.

A self-taught photographer with a background in rock music, my love for live music fuels how I work. I believe that this makes my photos more honest and natural – I connect with music and being a fan helps me to create impactful images.

My preferred way of working is to be as unobtrusive as possible (I’ve been saying for years how happy I’d be if invisibility cloaks were real!). I’m not there disrupt the show, block anyone’s view or cause a distraction. Most of the time I’m working you’ll barely even notice me. I’m there to capture the atmosphere and the details, and draw people into your world. I’ll be in the right place, but not in the way. I’ll find the perfect angles and let you do your thing.

I’ve worked at clubs, arenas and festivals and been employed as house photographer for a 1000 capacity venue in London, providing pre-show portraits, crowd reactions, behind-the-scenes moments, and overall ambiance as well as artist performances. I can collaborate with your designer or printer to ensure that your images are suitable for any medium that you require, digital or print.

Let’s talk about how we can work together!
